Step 1: Advanced Eye Exam
Our exam lanes are equipped with the advanced Topcon CV-5000 auto-phoropter. Fast lens rotation provides comfort for patient and allows easy comparison of existing and new prescription. Distance and near tests are a breeze and the entire process is streamlined. The final prescription is exported automatically to ensure perfect accuracy.
Step 2: Frame Selection
Our unique iPad-based "e;virtual mirror" technology takes photos of you wearing different styles allowing you to compare four sets of frames at once – so you can choose the perfect style for your face.
Our licensed opticians are experts at frame style, fit and function and will recommend the best options for your prescription and lifestyle.
Step 3: Digital measurements
Our iPad measurement system obtains real, as-worn, eyewear measurements that take into account how the frame will be worn by the patient.
Personalized “as-worn” measurements allow lens designs to be customized to take into account frame-specific measurements such as pupillary distance (PD), vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt and frame wrap.
OptikamPad obtains monocular (one measurement per eye) pupillary distances using the actual frame and nose pad adjustments, greatly improving final measurement accuracy.
